Hi Steve, I bought a 2014 XF 3Ltr Diesel S last year. Not sure I like it! Although its a great looker inside and out, and it's very fuel economical on long runs. I do however find the suspension too hard, the seats uncomfortable, blind spotty, and damn diesel lag. I have to say that the mid range torque is quite impressive though. I guess in today's car market most cars have similar issues and probable the one have is the better value for money as opposed to a brand new BMW or Aud...

I recently come from a 4Ltr (yr2000) Daimler Super Eight that I had for 8 years prior, and enjoyed every minute of it (so now, you can see where I'm coming from!). Unfortunately, it had engine problems, piston rings being the likely cause. Well, I joined the Jag Owners club to find like minded people and some advice on whether to stick this car out, or buy a 5ltr XJ or possibly a Range Rover possibly a SC, not sure whether a LPG would be a good choice?
