Whers the cheapest place to get a pair of rear shocks for a 03 2.0d saloon ?

I want to get it out cos the bottom of it looks filthy, gone black and grimmey and doesn't look good at all. So batty off to stop the airbags deploying then ?

Dont use pc or laptop much as i use my phone to access tinter web thingy mostly nowadays but a laptop would definately be usefull at times i must admit.

What size injecter socket do i need to remove the deisel injecters on a 2.0 tdci engine in x type deisel ?

Anyone know what thread size and pitch the deisel supply union nut is on the injecters on a 2.0 deisel tdci x type/mondeo engine ?

Dont you need a laptop for that though ? Unfortunately i dont have a laptop but would be interested at a later date though.

I have a loan of a scanner at the moment but it doesn't really tell me much/enough to work with really.

I used the AA last night and the very nice man told me it was injecter 1 underfueling and injecter 2 overfueling and injecters 3 and 4 are both fine, he even showed me the deisel flow per injecter on the diagnostic machine and would have tried recoding them but the numbers on the injecters were too far down the holes to read. Going to pull the injecters 1 and 2 later.

Found the problem, injecter 1 is underfueling injecter 2 is overfueling, injecters 3 and 4 are fine Information courtesy of a very helpfull AA man and his diagnostic tool so looks like i need two replacement injecters and a recoding session. Anyone got any recomendations for suppliers or garages local to OX11 ?

Yes the are very good. I have the VS020 which attaches to an airline and i also have a manual trigger type too(like a domestic cleaner trigger) which is also very good but i prefer my airline type.

Can the injectors on a 2.0d with the Ford tdci engine be recoded by a Ford agent or is it a trip to a Jag agent. Been quoted £80+vat to have them recoded by Julians in Didcot.

Can x type deisel injectors be coded to the vehicle by a Ford agent seeing as it has the Mondeo tdci engine. Been quoted £80 +vat to recode my injectors.

Anybody had there camshaft sensor or knock sensor fail on them ? What were your symptoms ?

Hi Peter Thanks for replying, all answers are welcome. I'm going to clean the egr valve out in a bit and see if that makes any difference.
