  1. hi all off to the berkshire motor show this sunday held in reading opens at 10.am loads of classics modern cars trucks bikes all make all models all in aid of a children's cancer charity so well worth the £10 for me and kitty to attend on a club stand too show off her touch of class theme with her picnic basket & table laid out nicely beside a clean & shiny car. LOADS TO SEE AND DO ENTRY PRICE IS A DONATION TO THE CHARITY ON THE GATE ????? COME & HAVE A LOOK SEE IF YOU ARE LOCAL & SAY HELLO YOU CANT MISS ME ILL HAVE THE J.O.C POLO SHIRT ON bottle of wine for her in doors to drink while im on the coffee or soft drinks, 4000 plus people came last yr. ive got a stand for jaguar owners already booked for nexts yrs event :) :) :) :) for a big turn out of jag all models RON
  2. hi Bob welcome to the club and as far as im concerned no problems with them ive had two updated disc's off them one for the jag & 1 for a citroen both worked fine with no problems Ron

Welcome Mark if you get a 2009 n/s door mirror complete please give me a shout as some !Removed! has broken mine, the bottom cover anyway the rest of the mirror is fine but you cant buy the bottom cover on their own its the whole mirror if i want it replaced. ( by the way its heated & folding ) welcome to the club once again Ron

  11. hi brian the hose for the turbo on the x type and is located under the battery tray,not sure if its the same on the s type, if its loose or split you may get this noise your best bet would be to ask old peter (user name) he's had s types for a few yrs. i only said about turbo hose as my x type had the same sort of noise. hope it helps out
  12. hi phlip you may wish to ask your mate if he'd like to become a x type trader within the club if he can offer better prices than indy garages or main dealers he could make some members very happy indeed. ron
  13. in ref to the tow bars it all depends on what they've been towing if anything if you think about it, i.e caravan / trailer / boat / sml garden trailer i would pay extra attn to the shocks / bushes on the rear end if its been towing i cant see an owner putting a towbar on just for the hell of it. Ron

  21. no offence taken steve we all have opinions as i say ive taken on board what you say and i may look into to the main beam option instead of the dipped beam keep these post going its what make this club one of the best around is members post/threads etc best regards Ron

  24. well lets hope one of the companies make a decent bulb soon then cos i for one and many more think the headlights on the x type are very poor indeed so until that time comes hid's will be going in my car but i take on board what you say and there is a lot of selfish drivers out there but i will do my very best not too become one of them Ron
