  1. Same for me, viva HB which died of rust, followed by a Dolomite 1850 which died when I took out a keep left bollard and ripped the sump iff and crumpled the wings :-(
  2. Hate the show, makes a mockery of thousands of manufacturing workers in this country just to fill Clarksons and the other two idiots egos. Like Quentins show as it actually looks at the cars of our history, rather than "what's the fastest most expensive car we can joyride in?" Thats all Top Gear is today I for one won't miss it if it goes
  3. LOL, No I Know you are joking Knightsmith, Good one :-0
  4. yes we will have to disagree, as Mercedes are terrible, awful customer service and snooty attitude from what is just a basic VW type car range. Never had that attitude at any other dealership including BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota etc etc.
  5. Well, we will have to disagree on that. never had such attitude from a dealership like the Mercedes ones. Truly snobbish and awful.
  6. 19 inch Space saver for Sportbrake is £150, but would not be happy using it, as its smaller than the other wheels on the R-Sport Black. Also I have had tio use a spacesaver on a Toyota I had as the tyre blew out. have you ever tried to drive down the motorway at 50MPH? scary.
  7. The front sensor system used by JLR is a Ford system, same process for Ford cars
  8. You will be pleased (?) to know that due to European legislation from this year onwards all new models will have to have TPMS as standard
  9. No effect on the turbo's. TSS (Twin Solenoid start) systems have no effect on the turbo. In Stop Strat driving, they are hardly spooling in most cases and long tern TSS testing has taken place
  10. Sounds like every Mercedes dealership I have ever entered..
  11. Just to say with the introduction of EU6c emission level, not only will the removal of the DPF invalidate the cars MOT, but actually the engine will go into limp home mode. EU legislation is making the ability to remove and circumvent the system impossible. Also there will be a PDF fitted to petrols and Urea tanks added to spray, well, Urea into the exhaust systems......
  12. Welcome to the Jaguar forums Warkman :)
