Hi Folks, she was sitting for a few months (3), now gone into limp was fine before, logical garage said tcm so got replacement, no change then change tcm, but feel I will be putting good money after bad. Does anyone know how much a tcmm re- program would be to hopefully rectify this problem, or could it be something completely different, it's starting to give me sleepless nights. And not got much hair left, All suggestions welcome she is 2002 2.5 auto.Thank you in advance Rod

  8. Hi Frank Luckily it's down to the guy I bought it from as he gave me a receipt when I bought her that he would put 12mths MOT on, when it became due, with any parts and labour, as only had 6wks MOT, But we just couldn't believe it as she is totally Mint on the surface, just a few little niggles as any used car would have. Thanks Rod
  9. HI There Thank you very much for that I will check as She failed on both sills needing done both shot, I will mail the garage about the fuses/relay, Cheers Rod
  10. 2.5 petrol X Type 02 Automatic, Hi Guys Had the car for a few weeks and tonight for the first time needed headlights, but nothing, the side work but are Dim. 11. Hi I went to pick up a water pump from my local dismantler, when i asked him about the Auto choke sensor, and the lumpy running while cold, he looked at me as if I had 2 heads, then I asked about the braking probs and got an even weirder look and told these things can't happen as it's all electronic so should not/never do any of these bits, so some help with part numbers would be very helpful, and there location within the engine bay please, Thanks Rod
  12. Have checked all the pipes and all fit very well, and none are soft, so no collapsing. When I started up this morning which it starts first time every time, it is actually more like no choke, as she is at around 750/800rpm ???? But brakes still rubbish until 1/2_3/4 mile .
  13. HI Frank Thanks Yes It Is a petrol 2.5 All filters changed but no differance will look at pipes, just been told could be a collapsing pipe, but it only does it first start in morning, will take look in morning thanks will let you know, Cheers
