Hi Guys Just a quick question I have a Slight coolant leak, on my S-Type 07 plate, and Im thinking of replacing the coolant reservoir tank, is the replacement fairly easy? Any sort of advice would greatly appreciated.

Autoglass has checked the screen and states that it had been fitted correctly. The elements dont fill the entire screen which is normal ie there are no elements in the screen approximately 4 inches in from either sides of the screen from the bottom, which then tapers up to the top of the screen leaving a gap about 1 inch and a half. So when defrosting the front screen there is always a border of frost either side for ages. Could someone please tell me if this is normal

Hi Guys Just a quick question, i've recently replaced my windscreen due to a couple of cracks in important areas on the screen. The repair was completed by auto glass. I noticed the other whilst defrosting the windscreen, that the elements only defrosted the main parts of the screen leaving about 4 inches either side still frozen up. Just wondered if this is normal on the S-Type, or have they fitted the wrong screen. Thanks in advance

Hi Steve I had exactly the same problems like you with both my keys, in the end I used a company called Expresskeyfobs who refurbished both keys for £47. Then i did the following to sync them together : 1. Insert key 2. Open drivers door 3. Turn key to position 1 4. Then to position 2 and back to 1 x 4 TIMES 5. Remove key and press the lock button. 6. If you have a second key press the lock button straight after also Both keys should now work. Prior to refurbishing the keys they worked (remote) intermittently, they would both start the car etc. the remote headlights wouldn't work. but after refurbish and then sync all ok. Hopefully this might help you. Elvis.

Hi everyone Still new to the forum, purchased my 57 plate S-Type just over a month ago, about a week ago I noticed that the fuel gauge was working intermittently, one minute it was showing zero, then the correct fuel and so on. When I purchased the car it came with 6 months warranty (Autoguard) So I thought the problem was perhaps the Fuel sender, so I contacted Autoguard who gave me the go a head to take it to there Approved garage Halfords Autocenter. Who explained that the Diagnostic would/did cost £49.99. Dropped my car of and about an hour or so later they contacted me explaining that it was a loose connection in the fuel tank etc and the gauge is working properly. So went to collect my car switched on 1st thing Gauge read 1/4 tank, when over 3/4 fuel was available. So back in told the mechanic who looked at it and confirmed the problem. So he said that it might be the fuel sender and he will contact Autoguard. Again switched on my car to drive off and noticed there was a noise when I switched on and off the ignition, I couldn't tell where it was coming only from the front...so back in I go again (same mechanic) who jumps in the drivers seat switches on and off here's the noise...and tells me that that noise is the petrol gauge and its sticking...once again he tells me he's going to contact Autoguard and will get back to me. That was over a day ago so I rang them back, he then tells me that the fuel gauge is not covered under my warranty...and that if I wanted it repaired, I will be without my car for 7-10 days and cost of £400. Not happy!! anyway so I said that the fuel gauge reading wasn't sorted out properly, apparently he was with a customer when he picked up the phone to me and I should call him tomorrow. So if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on what to do next please all advice will be considered.

Hi Peter Im new to the club no pictures posted as yet, my wipers sit exactly the same on my S-Type. It appears to be the natural position.
