Forgot to ask is there any water damp in boot? that can cause problems

Hi Malcolm, My XF used to do strange things, codes flashing up, alarm going off because I was not driving it enough. Do you use it on a regular basis? you could check battery, check no water in boot causing problems with wiring , check relays are any loose? these seem to be common problems that owners have quite frequently. You have done what I would have done to solve problem, when did you buy it? did you buy from dealer? I would take it back if you did and ask them to diagnose the problem. Hi Malc, Welcome to the Jaguar Owners club. XF `s do have electrical niggles, If not wiring loom, could check battery? My XF had intermittent faults as I did not drive it much but after a good drive it would be fine. i am sure one of the others owners can help. Kind Regards, Julie.
