Download the InControl Touch Map Updater to your PC or Mac using the link provided, and it will advise you if a map update is available for your vehicle. Purchase and download the relevant map, then transfer it to the vehicle's SD card to update your InControl Navigation system.
  2. Yes I would be happy with that. In Wales Petrol near me is still more expensive😒
  3. Also I and other owners have had Turbo actuator problems, affecting acceleration seems common.but easy enough to remedy The car should be stable round corners. If it wobbles- needs radius arm on rear suspension
  4. Hi Matthew, Welcome to Jaguar Owners Club. X type, nice car to drive, and comfortable Check for rust on sills. Door latches / central locking connection to key fob can have problems, mine did but was easily solved. The later models more reliable in general. Kind Regards, Julie.
  5. Hi Andy, Welcome to jaguar Owners Club. When my X type had problem it was water in key fobs Here are common faults for most cars The key fob battery is dead: This is one of the most common reasons why your car door lock is not working. If your locks aren’t working, replacing the battery in the key fob could solve the issue. But I know you have checked this The key fob is faulty: If the battery isn’t the problem, the issue may be with the fob itself. If you go to your car dealer, they can hook the fob up to a computer and make sure that the programming is still good. If it’s not sending a signal, the fob will likely have to be replaced. A fuse is blown: If one door doesn’t work, but others do, the problem could be a blown fuse. Replacing the fuse will correct the problem. This is a cheap and easy fix. The solenoid is bad: Again, if one door doesn’t work, but others do, the problem could be with the door lock solenoid. Replacing it may require removing the car door panel. You have a broken wire: If the lock isn’t getting power, hold the lock switch either up or down, and then open and close the door repeatedly to see if the lock will work. If it works sometimes, you probably have a broken wire. Please feel free to post pictures of your pride and joy. We love to see other peoples cars😃 Hope you get it sorted soon. Kind Regards, Julie.
