06 plate 2.7d sport...Had this car 10 months and it's totally destroyed my faith its cost me about £5000 in repairs and now it's blown both turbos cost to repair more than the cars worth . If that's what owning a jag is like .never again ,totally gutted and skint , so it's going on eBay spares or repairs with both egr valves and dpf filter changed last month. All disks and pads last week ,front suspension and aircon. Not to mention £600 for roof console . No more jags for me not reliable enough and too !Removed! expensive

Am I missing some info ......as I can't get the wheel off, as the wheelbrace just spins on the nuts when you put any pressure on it it also doesn't seem to fit all the way on to the nuts .i have tried different sockets Nono avail they seem to be covered in a chrome cap . S type 2006 2.7 deisel

Just had new egr valves and dpf fitted (2006 s type sport 2.7 diesel ) 2 weeks ago and now the car catches on speed humps when more than one person in it ( we not that fat ),been back to garage and had it on lift and the dpf is as high as it goes but still hangs fairly low , and its the same dimensions as the old dpf , so garage and i a bit confused as i tow a caravan with it and dont know how much damage may occur with the extra weight on the back would lifting the rear suspension help or fitting spring assistors. very confused!!!

IT appears to be blowing from the front of the dpf.but runs very well no performance issues,taking it back tomorrow for them to look at

Just got car back from the garage having both egr valves and dpf changed ,and noticed a high pitched whistle that gets higher when you Rev the engine .any ideas ..?its a 2.7 deisal

car drove perfectly well on saturday very responsive on acceleration ....sunday however ,reversed of drive pulled away from junction no acceleration totally flat .phoned rac .discovered egr valve stuck open left side . so put it in for repair to be told right side egr valve has been stuck open for some time and very sooted up and the left one had just failed also dpf filter is choked up its beyond repair . no warning given on dash no engine warning lights ,cant understand how it drove so well with one egr stuck open . think i may have an ECU fault as well????? any advise would be greatly appreciated ,as begining to regret buying the car. would it be worth blanking them of .

will have another go at the weekend ,to try and get the tangs to release .need to strengthen my weak electricians fingers ,getting soft with all the paperwork.

i hope its just the interior lamp blown ,as the rear 2 work ,thankfully no smell of burning , this car seems to be developing a few electrical gremlins ,front parking aids ,rear parking aids ,radio cd failed (now replaced),is this normal for jag ,absolute nightmare fitting tow bar electrics the garage fitting it had 3 attempts and the reversing lights still dont work.(on the caravan).Hope this is not a sign of things to come .as i absolutely love the car .and cant get my wife out of it.

How on Earth do you get the roof console off to change the front interior lamp , I have followed the instructions from jaguar about releasing the front tangs then the side tangs and finally the rear tangs ,but no matter how hard I try it won't shift I'm a bit scared of damaging the headliner as it's starting to deform already..Any advise.?

every now and then the exhaust on my 2.7 diesel gets very very hot at the tail pipes ,engine is at normal temp ,i'm hoping this is to do with the dpf cleaning cycle .but a bit of advise would help.

I have a fault on the front and rear parking sensors none of which are working, the red light is on in the roof console ,when I put the car in reverse I get a tone. Lasting a few seconds but that's it , any ideas or is it a trip to the main dealer .? Any help greatly appreciated

Nice motor a couple of minor faults but otherwise very happy.
