is this a turbo diesel version? If so might be worth a quick look at turbo actuator; they can stick causing sluggish performance. Appreciate fault code may be showing something different but this could be a red herring. regards ryan

Hi all, just bought my first jaguar ( 1997 4.0 X300 - straight 6) wanted one for years! Lots of niggles to sort out so will probably be on here looking for advice before long. Never worked on jaguars before but will give DIY mechanics a good shot. Cheers Ryan
