  1. They know how us Jaguar owners love our cars and afford us special treatment. Its not just a car its a way of life 😍😍
  2. Nice. Just what your princess needed. Finished it off a treat 👍👍👍
  3. Nice one. Look forward to seeing it
  4. Definately looks like its an adhesive pad of some sort that runs the length of the spoiler.
  5. OUCH sorry to hear that mate 😔
  6. I ll check in on it im sure and have a read 👍
  7. She is a beauty my friend and for sure I would add a spoiler. Just something subtle to lift the back end 👍👍👍
  8. Mines a 200 sport so im guessing it was always on there but I maybe wrong but yeah it does finish the rear end off nicely, gives her that hunkered down mean look but still beautiful. But arent all S Types beautiful 😊👍
  9. Got 19 inch Zito CRS on 235/35/ZR19 😊😊
  10. New battery installed and already i can notice a difference in all the electrics, starter is quick to turn over, windows and mirrors all seem quicker and smoother if that makes sense. Only downside is that i sheared the bolt on the battery retaining bar that goes into the chassis but found a way round that so sits nice and securely. Fingers crossed this was a nice simple fix even if the unexpected 120 quid on a battery was not so timely but it could have been worse and after having my jag for nearly a year i couldnt be without my princess now so she costs what she costs!!
  11. Thanks joe. Im fitting a new battery tomorrow so i ll be sure to check everythings tight. Hope that will do the trick
  12. I have also got what i think is a battery issue. Used the car all day today no prob then out of nowhere i turned on ignition and the needles all flew over to other side of dial and car wouldnt start showed NO fault codes etc but the alarm just sounded. Jump started the car and it fired up no prob then took home, turned car off and started again like nothing had happened and a further 2 times after that. Confused and would appreciate any advice. Oh and i put multimeter on battery while car was running and alt was putting out between 14.7 to 15 volts. Is this within parameters or too high. Battery was not getting hot so dont think its cooked maybe just failed. Thanks in advance Malcolm
  13. Has this got the offset clearance from the calliper although ive still got to measure how big they are to establish whether theyve been uprated or not. Thanks for reply
  14. Yeah i think its heading that way. Shouldve done it before refitting my wheel lol oh well. Cheers for reply
  15. Not sure about this as wheels already on car when i bought it. Ive put pads on front and they were off the shelf so thought that might mean callipers were standard. Thought it would be easier to find out if 200 sport had uprated brakes but im now clueless lol
  16. Help Just fallen foul of a blowout which required me putting on space saver, thing is it didnt fit. Tyre was marked up s type 2002 but although holes went over studs there wasnt the offset to get wheel over calliper. Do I need a different size/ type of spare wheel as i have put out feelers to local scrapyards, trolled ebay etc etc and have had no luck. Muddlement has really set in now so if anyone can shed some light i would be grateful. 2003 s type 3.0 v6 petrol 200 sport currently fitted with zito 19" alloys tyre size 235-35-zr19 Malcolm
  17. I have an S- Type 3.0 200 sport petrol and it is the best car ive ever owned as well as sporty looking. Mine is a 2003 model in black with 19" zito alloys and low profile tyres. It has all the inbuilt sat nav climate control etc etc It's unmistakenly a Jaguar but meaner looking lol Good luck with your search
  18. On my S type the inner lights are the main beam which also come on when you press the headlight symbol on the remote when going to/ finding your car in the dark. Malcolm
  19. Cheers Andy will do
  20. Yes i heard that too peter, i think that sealed for life means sealed until you get it to the jaguar garage. Im definately thinking along the lines of an oil and filter change. Many thanks my friend
  21. Hi all Just enquiring if anyone else has had issues with gear change. Mine seems to lag between 3rd and 4th its like it wants to go in but then doesnt and looking at the rev counter it rises and falls a bit whilst doing it, almost like a surge. When i press the throttle more it changes up no problem. Its around the 40mph mark if that makes any sense? NO fault codes etc flag up. Im wondering if the gearbox oil and filter may need changing.Owned car for 3 months, Car has 100k on it and i dont know the service history. Obliged for any feedback Malcolm
  22. Cheers Andy, will give that a look in next couple of days, get these night shifts out of the way first lol.
  23. It looks like upon further inspection that it just kind of snaps back on but is only doing so one end. I think whats loosened it is the door handle itself catches it when pulled up. Cant see where a screw/ bolt would go.
  24. Exterior drivers side rear door handle surround/ trim coming loose. Do they just push/ clip back on or is there screws or adhesive to stick them back?
  25. I am experiencing exactly the same problem on 2003 s type. Knocking from o/s/f. It has been up on ramp and all bushes, top mounts etc are solid. Mine rattles over small dips, holes etc but when i went over them with brakes slightly on then the rattling stopped leading me to believe that the brake pads were possibly loose in the calliper, this was not to be the case. Pulling my hair out as dont know where to look next. Could it be possible that friction material on one of the pads has parted with the plate so making it rattle when not braking but clamped together and not rattling when brakes pushed. Obliged for any ideas Malcolm
