  1. Hi I'd just claim for the screen , for just the cost of the excess if it were cracked , just phone autoglass and get it done, that what you pay insurance for cheers Joe
  2. hi looking at the car history it showed 93599 miles last mot16/6/2016 cars mot history look really good with next to no advisories its showing with no mot now, If its mot'ed it would fetch a lot more and make it more desirable to more people cazana put its value at £4087 https://cazana.com/uk/car/VK03LRX looking at what other are selling at I'd say its worth between £5000 and £5500 maybe a bit more, if its mot'ed, if its got all its history and a lot depends what condition the underside is in, if it good I usually look on ebay see what similar one fetch and adjust the price for the condition of yours cheers Joe.
  3. Hi If you have a look here there wiring and workshop manuals http://www.jaguarownersclub.com/forums/topic/16054-some-good-jaguar-reading-info-support/ have you tested what voltage you have, also check all the battery connections, even if they seem tight, just pull them off and clean them, the battery connectors can furr up and even thought there on and tight, might not be a good connection also I would clean any earth connections off the battery to the body and any in the engine bay cheers joe
  4. Hi Depends which engine you have, earlier ones have a belt, later ones have a chain easiest way would be to ring jaguar, they would tell you and there prices are not that bad, usually fixed price would need engine code to be sure cheers Joe

  8. HI Unless your exhaust is in a bad way or your going to keeps it for years, I would not bother There quite expensive, Adamesh rear silencers are nearly £500 and a Miltek system is nearly £2000 If it were a V8 then it would be a definite YES, Have them on my STR and they sound Great!!, but it quiet on a run but the V6 does not respond that well to exhaust, it will be louder but you get a constant drone easiest way to tell if you will like is drop your rear silencers off, takes 15 minutes and that what it will sound like with a sports type stainless system next to no power increase either now if you after a replacement for a rusty system, than a descent stainless exhaust centre, can build you a custom one and they can make it quiet if you require it, but I bet your talking £300 to £500 cheers Joe

  21. Hi and Welcome Dennis looks like your not far from me as far as I am aware all the sill covers are the same I take it you have checked those sills, hidden behind them covers, as some are really prone to rusting there as for the mondeo, dont think much it the same, engines in jaguars are much improved and have higher outputs than the ford equivalents, though some electrical items are interchangeable, but not a lot, is directly interchangeable, so there more jaguar than ford cheers Joe
  22. Hi Looks great, some work involved there cheers Joe
  23. Hi Is it petrol or diesel first of all make sure the battery fully charged, if not sure, put it on charge overnight first if its petrol, remove the plugs and clean them, they could be fouled up if it diesel, let it stand for a few hours, then put the ignition on and wait for the glowplugs light to go out, then switch the ignition off and then back on till the glow plug light goes out, let the glow plugs heat 3 times before attempting to crank the starter over and start it cheers Joe
  24. hi I'd get the battery checked, also, some heater fans take quite a load so could be the cause get them check the alternator is charging correct as well battery is a common problem though cheers joe
