  1. I to would of gone for them if I needed replacements also. Make sure you post back the results. Good luck.
  2. Still for the money it's still worth it if it needs a new cat or 02 sensor. I take it it's the black (car) one?
  3. I'm sure they will fit as all exhaust from cats back are the same. And don't the adamesh rear boxes fit all!
  4. Hi, they don't look like standard jaguar ones but they look like they will fit ok. They must be aftermarket ones so will be a bit noiser.
  5. Look to the right of the small hole in the board and you will see a burnt out track!
  6. Can't be done.
  7. I know what you mean. 2 years ago I brought a Hyundai coupe 2.7 V6 for the wife, it was a 06 plate. I understand that 06 plates had the lower tax and 56 plates had the higher tax, it was only then I got the car home I found the cut off point was March 23st and the wife's new car was new on 25th!
  8. Sounds too good to miss, go for it! But being a 56 plate it's has not been dropped from it's road tax bracket so it's £500 a year!
  9. I also think it does the same if a window is fully up. How's the exhaust sounding?
  10. So after having a good look at the wiring details I checked the power feds to the motor and found no power, also checked at RCCM end and it was the same, so checked the signal feds from RCCM and yes it's got 5v going to it, next checked the position feedback variable voltage and found 2.2 volts. So I removed the motor (still plugged in) and popped it's cover off and removed one of the wheels so I could turn the wheel has the tracks on it. I then slowly spun the wheel and watched the volts change from 1-5 volts but still motor didn't power up. So now I'm sure the blend motor is ok. So I removed the RCCM and found this -
  11. I removed the motor and with it still plugged in I went through all the climate settings to find the motor dead so I plugged in a spare one which I removed from my last S which was scrapped. But again no movement then going through climate settings so it's 1 of 2 faults, 1- both motors are dead or there's a fault within the RCCM.So I opened the motor up to have a look -
  12. Hi all,I have just had my a.c regased as I didn't think it was as cold as it should be. It was done by a vehicle a.c professional. All went well with the regas and everything working as it should under the bonnet but he did notice that then the climate is set to face vents there was not much air flow. After a good play with the settings we worked out that you can't stop the air blowing out of feet vents no matter that settings it's set on.So I'm thinking the blend motor on feet vent is not working and stick on open. So removed the glove box and here's the feet vent blend motor -
  13. Sounds like it think's a door is open.
  14. Go for it! No your not mad! If it is a 02/03 car just make sure there is no rust on the rear arches as most R do! and the only way to know for sure is to go and view!
  15. Very nice but with that mileage I think it will sell about around 5k. If I had the cash I may go for it, it's the black paint I'm not 100% on, mileage no problem.
  16. One more on bay! I think. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-Jaguar-S-Type-3-0-V6-200-Sport-4dr-/231982337651?hash=item3603398e73:g:RVUAAOSwOVpXZAc-
  17. Good luck! Not had the balls to power wash under the bonnet!
  18. Sorry to hear this! This is the reason I would never buy a diesel, they are just too unreliable due to being highly turned for max power. Petrol engine powered by lpg every time for me!
  19. Make sure you get the cats from the same type of s as yours. Cats from a 2002-04 car will not fit 2004- 2008, I should know I've tried it.
  20. Hi, they are covered in pin striping tape.
  21. I had the same problem back in Jan! -
  22. Hi, you have drawn a blank because there are not any clear ones! So it's orange or body colour (like mine).
  23. And it's a NO from me!
  24. What's right no 6th gear with sport mode. With cruise on and switching sport on yes car will drop and gear and still stay at 60 mph.
  25. Oh!! Sorry I'm right. So you're not going to repair it then?
