  1. That's good news, no point in removing the covers if you don't need to. (don't know what happened to above).
  2. This is the sills on my last S which was a late 2002 (pictures were taken mid 2014) - Thanks.
  3. Hi Steve, PM sent.
  4. We can't all love the same things or life would be boring!
  5. Great idea and looks nice! Not needed for me as my S does 25k per year!
  6. Manual, no thanks!
  7. I'm watching this one, not worth more that £500 because you just don't know what's wrong with it. If it was a 3.0 I would buy it.
  8. Thanks Russ, And I noticed your local (always working in Hampshire).
  9. It was not scrapped because of the rust but this - This was a 'hit and run', someone drove straight at me and then drove off! It had done just under 250k on the same engine and auto box it left the factory with and was still running fine. I now have a dash cam!
  10. Hi, ok you have first dibs on them, no rush. And good luck with the rust, my last S which was a late 2002 was scrapped because of rust - Thanks.
  11. Hi, Yes I had the same and fault code PO420 on the o/s cat. As I run on lpg I don't the cats to pass a mot I removed them and gutted them. I then fitted a 90 degree 02 extender to both down stream 02 sensors, these 'pull' the sensors out of exhaust gases so they can't see/read that theres no cats (and cause fault codes). It was worth doing as it revs more freely, sounds louder and pulls better. I did also find out that facelift cats are different to pre facelift and they can't be swapped! Sorry I know this does help you. This is what is came out of one cat -
  12. As I said before used but not by me, I brought them 2nd hand to fit on my car but as I have gutted both catalyst converters my exhaust is more noisy that std and I think it would be too noisy if I fit these as well.
  13. Hi Steve, They are used (but not by me) and in good condition but do have some tar on the underside and yes come with clamps and hangers. And price £200. Sorry middle picture is upside down!
  14. Thanks Peter, The picture was taken before I fitted lowered springs/shock from a sport. I also have a set of 18" Mercurys to fit. Also toying with the idea of mesh grille. I dechromed my bumpers with wide pin stripe tape about a year ago but now I thinking of removing it as I think it makes the car look shorter.
  15. Hi all, I'm new on here, I own a Jaguar S-Type 2005 3.0 SE Auto, DIY lpg conversion running with decats, Retrofitted Sat Nav/Voice/Bluetooth/CDC, dechromed, Auto powerfolds, Dash cam, lowered Sports shocks/springs fitted and Powerflex bushes fitted to front wishbones. Done 167k. I previously owned a S Type 3.0 S.E late 2002 with lpg, covered 245k before it was scrapped. Also a 1999 3.0 S.E in Seafrost.
