might have but no wetness I checked but why would that make it stick in park when the engine was running all the time

So did a trip today 130 miles mostly motorway poped into a jet wash left the engine running after 10 mins went to pull away and it would not move out of park turned the engine off tried to restart and nothing all electrics worked but would not turn over at all so called the RAC after waiting 20 mins tried again and she started but parking break fault came up but it worked fine turned off again and she restarted and no warnings and has been fine since any idea's guys

Just had the gearbox oil and filter changed Oil new sump and labour total £176 which I think is not bad got a great garage near me who don't mind if I get the parts and just let them fit it all. For anyone near Scarborough its Ramshill garage, Ramshill rd ask for Jezz and say Gordy sent you

Must admit its a cheap one 4.5amp solar powered so will only use a few hours at a time how much are the Jaguar one's out of interest thanks

Just got a trickle charger after hearing the problems you can have with a low battery as I do a lot of short journeys my questions is i'am going on holiday for 2 weeks is it ok to leave it on for the 2 weeks or not, or how long and often do you guys use them. Thanks Gordy

Have just read on another post that you can get water ingress in the auto gearbox via the radiator cooler had the same problem on a Land Cruiser I had which I had to have a gearbox rebuild at a cost of 2k when I did I had an air cooled rad for the gearbox fitted instead of the water cooled one which worked very well just wondered if anyone has had the same on the Jag as I intend keeping mine for a while and wondered if it would be worth doing

Have you thought about these Uniroyal Rainsport3 I've had them before and they are great all year round not just in the wet where they have an A rating and only £75 from Camskill

I know Peter as I said I could not find transmission oil but just said the oil I did look at was expensive

Got to disagree on there prices 5ltr Shell Helix engine oil £41 same oil e,bay £27.50 could not find there transmission oil
