  1. Hi Edward, welcome to the Forum, my advice re your first Jaguar would be - Enjoy It!! Please share some photos when you get it
  2. Hi Adam, that Terraclean might be a good idea, low usage isn't great for these engines, I do less than 10 miles a day now in mine and that gives me about 20-22mpg, I am going on a 'long-run' on Sunday to Gatwick, I will see what it does on that run and report back. With the low mileage the DPF warning light comes on and I have to take it for a 'burn-up' to clear it, but with over 180,000 on the clock it does well :-)
  3. Hi Brandon, as Woodsy says the 2.7 V6 Diesel engine is great - I have a 2008 XF with the 2.7 V6 Diesel engine and it has now 184,000 miles on the clock and still gives me 48mpg on a long run, so if it has a good service history and you check the MOT history as O.T.H recommends you won't go wrong! Good Luck!
  4. Good Luck Bryan!

  7. Hi Joe The weather certainly held out for us at the JDC show yesterday, it was so hot with a good turn out too, I will post a few photos in the Members Gallery, but here's one of my wife at our stall and our XF too! Regards Kevan
  8. Hi Gary, I gave up on Main Dealers years ago and now always use E&E Services (Jaguar Specialist) 38 Tanners Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keynes MK14 5BW, Dave & Mark are Jaguar Trained Technicians and do a great job - with a free Jaguar loan car and reasonable rates too! - Give them a call on 01908 218875. Regards Kevan
  9. Hi Guys, the X Type never had a factory fitted Leaper Badge so I think it must have been an addition by the previous owner, to remove sticky badge residue I have normally started by heating it slightly with a hair dryer and gently picking/peeling it off, followed by using T-Cut. Personally I wouldn't remove badges that were meant to be there unless they needed replacing with like for like, but in the past I have had new cars that came with the boot badges etc in the glove box giving the owner the choice of having them on or not - I put them on!
  10. Looks like a great event Joe, let's keep our fingers crossed for the weather!
  11. Many Thanks Roger!

  14. Hi, My XF Premium Luxury had Privacy Glass as an option when new - I really love it, it offers great privacy in the back and keeps it cooler in the summer, in my opinion it's well worth having it done! Regards Kevan
